Pay Scale: SCP 2 (£8036 - £8180 per annum actual)

15 hours per week - all year round. 6am - 9am or 3pm - 6pm.

Job Advert

We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard and as part of a team and for someone who will take pride in their work and our school.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Ideally has experience of working in a similar role.
  • Will provide high quality, professional cleaning across the site.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team.
  • Is able to work on their own initiative, prioritising day to day work.
  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is committed to our Catholic vision and ethos.

Effort Demands:

  • Will carry out cleaning across the school site to a high standard in a timely manner.
  • Will work under the supervision of the Site Supervisor but will be required to use their own initiative.

Responsibilities:

  • Will treat all users of the school with courtesy and consideration, maintaining effective relationships.
  • Will contribute to the performance of the team, ensuring that a customer focused service is provided.
  • Will operate everyday equipment with care and in accordance with established procedures, reporting faulty equipment, perceived hazards & other maintenance requirements to appropriate person.
  • Will undertake special cleaning programmes during school closure or other designated periods in compliance with the specification for the premises.
  • Will clean all surfaces, fixtures and fittings, floors, walls, partitions and internal woodwork, toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas as appropriate.
  • Will collect and dispose of waste in appropriate manner.

 

Salary & Benefits

 £8036 - £8180 per annum actual.
