Overview

St William’s Catholic Primary School is part of the Blessed Christopher Wharton Catholic Academy Trust. The Trust comprises of 17 Primaries and two Secondaries that work together as a family of Schools. The Local Academy Council of St William’s are looking for an excellent and enthusiastic teacher, with successful experience of leadership of subjects, phase or as part of a senior leadership team, to be the new Deputy Headteacher.

St. William’s is a school which holds ‘Christ at our heart’ , where everyone speaks politely shows love, respect justice & kindness. The supportive leader joining the SLT here should aid the Headteacher live out this ethos in everyday school life.

They should be a highly motivated and creative individual who can demonstrate leadership skills that include coaching of all teaching staff in their role to maximise the progress of all pupils This role is ideal for an excellent class teacher who can model high standards of their own teaching and share their exemplary practice, having a positive impact on standards of teaching and learning beyond their own classroom. Our new Deputy Headteacher should be passionate about their role in developing good citizens of the future.
