The Academy Council at St. Columba’s school are looking for an enthusiastic Head Cleaner to join our very popular, good, expanding school, on a permanent, all-year-round, 5 days, 15 Hours per week, 3.15pm to 6.15pm in term-time and agreed flexi-hours in the holidays.

As a Head Cleaner working in our school it’s essential that you:

  • Have a good knowledge of health, hygiene and safety procedures
  • Have the ability to lead and motivate staff
  • Have shared responsibility for the security of the school and be a keyholder
  • Be responsible for ordering and monitoring cleaning stock
  • Be hardworking and take pride in your high standard of work
  • Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Will possess the ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Have the ability to relate well to children and adults
  • Have an understanding of how to safeguard children
