The Academy Council at St. Columba’s school are looking for an enthusiastic Head Cleaner to join our very popular, good, expanding school, on a permanent, all-year-round, 5 days, 15 Hours per week, 3.15pm to 6.15pm in term-time and agreed flexi-hours in the holidays.

St. Columba’s prides itself in having a strong and supportive community with wonderful, enthusiastic children, who are well behaved. As a Head Cleaner working in our school it’s essential that you:

Have a good knowledge of health, hygiene and safety procedures
Have the ability to lead and motivate staff
Have shared responsibility for the security of the school and be a keyholder
Be responsible for ordering and monitoring cleaning stock
Be hardworking and take pride in your high standard of work
Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
Will possess the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Have the ability to relate well to children and adults
Have an understanding of how to safeguard children
