Overview

St Clare’s Catholic Primary School is part of the Blessed Christopher Wharton Catholic Academy Trust. The Trust comprises of 17 Primaries and two Secondaries that work together as a family of Schools. The Academy Council and Trust Board of this much improved school are looking to appoint an inspirational leader, whose own vision and faith support our mission in providing an excellent Catholic Education, where every person is precious to God.

The school is looking for a Headteacher who can build on our recent successes including last year’s ‘Good’ Ofsted rating. As a role model of outstanding teaching, this leader should be committed to improving the practice of those around them. They should be committed to nurturing the spirit of each child and creating a supportive atmosphere where all feel valued. St Clare’s is an exciting place for anyone who is passionate about improving the life changes of young people.

Working closely with the leaders across the Trust, our new headteacher will have the opportunity to make a significant difference to the lives of our children and the community we serve.

Please note it is an occupational requirement that a deputy headteacher in a catholic school is a practicing catholic.
