KS1 Teaching Assistant

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1 from January 2025

Personal attributes

We are looking for someone who:

  • Will support and embrace the ethos of our Catholic School
  • Is resilient and able to cope with the demands of children who can find school life challenging
  • Wants to make a difference to the lives of our children
  • Has excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Is able to use their own initiative 
  • Has high expectations
  • Can helps provide a stimulating climate for learning
  • Id an excellent communicator who can work closely as part of a team
  • Is flexible and has good sense of humour and sense of fun

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Work with small groups of pupils
  • Provide intervention support
  • Provide 1:1 support for SEND and lower ability pupils

Salary & Benefits

28.75 Hours. Fixed Term (initially) until July 2025

8.45am - 3.15pm (28.75 hours)
