37 hours per week - TTO + 5 days. 5 days a week 8:00 - 16:00

Fixed Term 1 year in the first instance

Are you someone who is interested in working with aspirational staff, who want the best for the children of Our Lady and St Brendan’s?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working in a similar role.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team.
  • Is able to work on their own initiative, prioritising day to day work.
  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrate resilience, empathy, and adaptability in a dynamic school environment, managing emotional and behavioural challenges while maintaining professionalism, patience, and a consistent focus on pupil wellbeing and progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to pupils to help them engage in learning, develop positive behaviour, and achieve their personal and academic goals.
  • Support teaching staff in maintaining a purposeful and safe learning environment, preparing materials and resources as needed.
  • Supervise and mentor pupils needing additional guidance to ensure progress, both academically and emotionally.
  • Promote positive values and relationships, liaising effectively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support pupil development.
  • Contribute to monitoring, reporting, and review processes, keeping accurate records and assisting in transition, SEN, and pastoral meetings.
